Women Founders Network (WFN) is a virtual accelerator that connects women building high-growth businesses with the tools and resources they need to achieve business success. The focus and goal of WFN is to connect women founders not only with the required capital but also with the resources, connections, mentorship and sponsorship that they need to grow scalable, transformative, successful businesses. In the past 5 years, WFN has awarded and directly invested over $1.1M in women-founded companies and alumni have gone on to raise over $45M in funding.
Angel One is one of the most active angel groups in Canada according to the National Angel Capital Organization. We are a member-based not-for-profit made up of active angel investors. Our members are enthusiastically engaged in screening companies, conducting due diligence and after the cheque is written, using their experience and contacts to help their investee companies grow.
Anges Québec is a network of 140 private investors that identifies, finances and coaches innovative Quebec enterprises with high growth potential. In this capacity, Anges Québec works closely with a number of key Québec organizations interested in the development and growth of technological innovations. The Capital Angel Network is a group of angel investors in the Ottawa-Gatineau region who meet about nine times a year. We are often the first investor community where startups pitch. We offer entrepreneurs a 90 second preview pitch and the chance to give a full presentation based on investor interest.
